    Dr. Kothari attended medical school at Chicago Medical School and then completed his residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Chicago, where he was honored to serve as Chief Resident. He further advanced his expertise through a General Cardiology Fellowship at Advocate Lutheran Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, where he was selected as Chief Fellow. Dr. Kothari then pursued advanced training in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
     
    He is board certified in Internal Medicine and General Cardiology and is board eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
     
    Dr. Kothari specializes in complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), including left main, chronic total occlusions (CTO), bifurcation stenting, coronary atherectomy, and the use of intravascular ultrasound. He brings a wealth of expertise and a dedicated approach to his practice, focusing on advanced techniques to improve patient outcomes in cardiology.
     
     Dr. Kothari’s commitment to excellence is reflected in his continuous pursuit of advanced skills and knowledge in the field.
     
    Outside of his professional life, Dr. Kothari enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, golfing, and exploring new dining experiences in their new hometown of Atlanta.
